On Saturday 17th June there was a great party at the Bar Convent for Srs. Agatha Leach and Katherine Archer who were celebrating their Platinum Jubilee that is 70 years of dedicated service as religious sisters in the Congregation of Jesus and Sr. Frances Orchard was celebrating her Diamond Jubilee that is 60 years. The CJ English Province was joined by 14 IBVM Loreto members who had travelled from the west and south as we continue together as one Mary Ward Institute. The celebration began with a very joyous Mass of Thanksgiving celebrated by Fr. Dermot Power, followed by a festive lunch with tea in the garden. Thank you to all who made this festive day so enjoyable.
