On 7th March 2022, two sisters of the Congregation of Jesus attended the launch of Towards A Politics of Communion: Catholic Social Teaching in Dark Times by Professor Anna Rowlands, held in the English Embassy to the Holy See. Professor Rowlands dedicated her new book to Pat Robb CJ, a member of the English Province and a passionate missionary who worked for years in Africa, helping people in need and supporting justice and peace.
Sr. Cecilia Yeom and Sr. Elisabeth Kampe from the Congregation of Jesus attended the launch of the book on behalf of the whole congregation. It was inspiring to listen to Professor Rowlands as she explained the impact of Catholic social teaching for a world of justice, and how each person is called to be a light in dark times.
Cardinal Michael Czerny, Under Secretary of the Migrants & Refugees Section of the Vatican, then shared that he was waiting for the book, that everyone needs it, and that we are very happy to have it now.
