Saturday 6th June saw the celebrations of both Dr Sr Gemma and Sr Josie at the Bar Convent, York. Sr Gemma was celebrating her 70th Birthday, whilst Sr Josie was celebrating both her 90th Birthday and her Platinum 70 Years as a sister.
It was a lovely celebration, mass was given by Fr Henry Longbottom in the Bar Convent chapel, followed by lunch and not to forget a nice slice of cake.
It was a joyful day filled with laughter and shared memories. We offer blessings to both Dr Sr Gemma and Sr Josie – thank you for your years of devotion and for being such a big part of our community.
